WD 2TB external hard drive..
trying to get it to work again as it does not read when i insert it onto my computer :(
so i tried reformatting it and it wouldnt let me do so either so i did a test and the test results came back as FAIL and error code said 08-too many bad sectors detected.. what does this mean?
does it mean my hard drive is unfixable??
someone plzzz help

I'm very sorry to hear you're having issues with your drive. :(
Unfortunately, the results you got back from the tests, mean that the drive has started to fail. Do you have any data you need to recover from your drive? Having in mind you've tried to format it, you probably don't need to recover any data, but just in the odd case that I might be wrong, here are some data recovery options:
First, I'd recommend that you try accessing it via Linux Live CD/USB to see if the drive is recognized and if you can get to your data this way. Otherwise you could try some of the data recovery options listed in this thread here: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-1644496/lost-data-recovery.html.
