Optical led mouse vs optical laser wired vs optical wireless laser mouse?

Solution
There's no black & white answer. Optical has its strong points, laser has its strong points. It comes down to the surface you're using it on and what you are doing (gaming, editing, casual net browsing, etc.).

For wired vs wireless, there's no doubt wired performs better when it comes to gaming. However, if you are playing games where response time doesn't really matter.. a wireless mouse is just as good.

Wired mice have a better response time. For gaming, I will always recommend wired.

Optical vs Laser is.. well.. one of those arguments where no one can be right. What I believe is more important is getting a mouse pad that suits the type of mouse you choose. There are different textures, patterns, surfaces, etc. that are made for certain reasons. I'd suggest you consider the surface you'll be using the mouse on before choosing optical or laser.

For every day use (unless you are doing detailed, pin point accurate photoshop or editing work), you won't see a difference. Again, consider the surface you'll have the mouse on more so than the type of mouse you purchase.

The mouseI mostly use for gaming is the m310 wireless mouse which has a dpi of 1000 or sensor resolution of 1000...A standard mouse but still good for gaming but I also have another standard optical GE scroll mouse that is wired and LED...The wired mouse seems to have a bit more better reaction like you said for gaming

There's nothing wrong with using standard mice.

Gaming mice (or more expensive mice in general) offer higher DPI.. so if 1000 feels good to you, then, you won't necessarily benefit from getting a gaming mouse. If you'd like to have a higher sensitivity, custom profiles, programmable buttons (or just more buttons), etc., getting a gaming mouse would benefit you.

I use a Razer Deathadder Chroma.. I love it. It's a wired, optical mouse with custom DPI settings, profiles (for different games), and it fits my hand perfectly. I've owned both laser & optical, but the Deathadder is by far my favorite. I use it with a Steel Series 4HD mouse pad :D

Depends on the software your mouse uses & its capabilities. If you are keeping the "ordinary and standard" mouse pads you have now, get an optical mouse. You already know an optical works on those, right? Basics my friend, stick to the basics.

Yup, it's all preference. You don't need to go buy a Razer or Steel Series if you are happy with what you got.

Cheers!
