Tactx keyboard keys not working!!! HELP!!!

Hi, Ive been having this really annoying problem, My alienware Tactx keyboard keys will not work, Only the macro keys work. This is really annoying as I spent quite a bit of money on this keyboard, Please help. And yes, the lights do work.

I am using an Alienware aurora r3 PC.

I have the exact same issue. It's worth noting that for a long time, I just used a different wireless Logitech keyboard with a wireless receiver and it works fine. I tried to plug in the Alien TactX (which actually came with the system in question), and it performs as described here -- macro keys give input, nothing else does, and it's frustrating the daylights out of me. I do notice that when I plug it in and Windows 7 does its plug and play install, at first it recognizes it as "Alienware TactX Keyboard," but then changes the description to "Generic USB HiD device" (or some such). Please help me use the weird glowing thing on the corner of my desk. Thanks.
