just finished a new pc build and got win 7 up and running on it, but having trouble connecting it to the internet. current set up has the router with network cable direct into the pc and getting nothing. have the same cable normally in my gaming pc and it connects instantly, so nothing wrong with router/cable. have tried it at another cabelled network point (tp link) and still not picking up anything. any idea what might cause this or am i forgetting something obvious? thanks! spec is
