Will the Coolermaster V8 fit on an AM3+ socket?

I can't find any clear information about this online, probably because the V8 was released back in 2008 or roundabout then. Sorry for making a thread with a stupid question like this. Note I'm talking about the old V8 not the new V8 GTS. Thanks in advance for any answers!

Yes it will. It fits on a am2+ socket., and it should fit on a am3+ socket. The only difference is the pin layout of the socket, not the clip design. That is the same ( and the only thing that matters ) .
