I just bought this computer and it won't connect to my Linksys wifi. It shows that there is wifi, but everytime I try to connect, it says that it can't. Funny story though is that it has connected twice before, but now it doesn't. Any help?
Try changing the wireless channel on your Linksys router in it's configuration utility (in the wireless section).
Most routers default to continuous automatic channel selection, but try a fixed channel between 8 & 12

Standard channels to use for 2.4Ghz are 1, 6, 11. Using any other channel makes interference from other networks more likely. Setting the router to 'auto' is the best way to manage this, the router will change it's default channel if there is too much interference.

Have you contacted Dell support? What error messages are you seeing? What is your wireless network setup?

I haven't contacted Dell support yet, I have been trying to figure it out on my own. To be completely honest, I'm terrible with computer knowledge. The error message is 'can't connect to this server' whenever I hit connect on the network I want. I think i'm just going to take it down to Geek Squad in the morning, and hopefully they can fix it.
Drop by a Starbucks or some place with free wifi beforehand, and see if it works there. Then you'd know if its the computer or your home network that's the problem.
