Building a PC, am I over doing any of these parts (price wise)

I don't want to be spending more than I need on some of these parts, I'm set on using the 970 for the most part, but I'm looking for parts to replace the motherboard/cpu/ PSU that would be cheaper with little to no preformance changes; Just curious if anyone could help me find cheaper alternatives.

I would avoid the Corsair CX power supply for this higher-end PC - they are overpriced and do not have the quality the price deserves, also considering you will overclock. Check into Seasonic power supplies.

If you are building with a tight budget, the stock CPU cooler will be fine at stock speeds, and mild overclocks.

I'm not tight on budget, I'll just have to wait for the next paycheck haha
just wondering if i'm overdoing anything here.

If you want to lower budget don't overclock, get an H97 board, and don't buy an aftermarket cooler. Would still perform well, just no OC.
