Wifi vs Powerline if wifi has good signal

I built my first gaming desktop a couple of months ago. Unfortunately my modem and router are not in the same room as my PC and there are no hookups in that room. Currently, I have a 25ft cat 6 ethernet cable that I run between rooms. I don't want to run cable on floor between rooms as permanent option so I'm looking into usb wifi adaptor or Powerline. My other devices get full reception bars when using wifi in room with my PC. My question is if a Powerline would still be better than wifi adapter even if the wifi signal is good in my PC room? In case it matters I have FX-8350, R9 280X, and ASUS motherboard.

Powerline will give you a more consistent signal (ping/bandwidth) than wireless. But, in some house wiring situations, powerline doesn't work as well as advertised.

I'd recommend trying powerline and seeing if it works.

Update in case anyone researches this in the future. Just set up powerline adapters and they work great! I don't know how, but I am actually getting faster internet speed with them than I was with a cat6 ethernet cable(my PC and router were about 25' apart and the Ethernet cable is 50'). The fastest speed I got using speed tests with long cable was 64 Mbps. I just got 71 Mbps after my last speed test with the powerline setup! Thanks again to both members for responding to my thread and recommending the powerline adapter. I got the Trendnet 500 AV2 for $63(USD) on Amazon. It included 2 adapters. I probably could have bought a cheaper set but I found a good review for this one and I might upgrade my internet service in the future.
