Can someone recommend a new CPU fan?

The CPU fan I currently have in my PC is really noisy and loud which can be disrupting when doing things on my computer. I was just wondering is their any other one I can use to replace it with that would be much more quite. The one I have currently is the one that came with my AMD FX6300 CPU. This would be a lot of help as I am quite new to all this.

I'd say get the Hyper 212 Evo or Plus (evo is a bit better but not worth more than a 5$ difference). Just know that it's a bit big, so make sure your RAMs won't be in the way (you should be in the clear if they are not extremely high profile).

What's your budget? For around 30 bucks you can get a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo or Plus. If you're willing to put some more money in (around 70-80 bucks) then you can get a Noctua NH-D14 or NH-D15, or a Phanteks PH-TC14PE. Those are the CPU air-coolers that are considered best today.

He explicitly said that noise is a problem for him, so I wouldn't recommend liquid coolers.
