For ping, i know the lower the better. But for download speed and upload speed, is the higher the better?

Are these speeds fast or slow?

Second Test: http://gyazo.com/ea85d0d6fd580c8db86183aa2aeb54d9

I have a modem and router in my room plugged into a splitter so that the cable line can reach both my TV and my modem/router. Do the cables i use with the slitter matter? Are there fast and slow cables, or all the same?

Thanks.

Alright thanks, i sometimes get some delay. Do certain cables give different speeds and if i use a slitter with the cables.. do they lower the speeds?

Is this the test of the speed i am getting right now, or am i supposed to be getting? My netflix on TVs also tend to buffer during movies sometimes.

I did another test lol, why does the download differ a lot between tests? http://gyazo.com/be2c36a834d6d8f9ce87ba57710aa96e

Splitters tend to lower speed.
Download differs if other devices are using internet at the same time
Basically any internet will have to buffer or have slow moments, but you're getting a solid 3 mb/s down so you should be fine.

Alright sounds good. So the tests that i ran show the speeds that i am currently getting, or i should be getting? I ask this because i use a splitter and when i have my computer on and Netflix at the same time, Netflix buffers sometimes.

It shows the speed you are currently getting.
