I was installing the Nvidia driver updates for my GTX 770 in anticipation for GTA V, a few times it said that it couldn't carry on with the install, but I quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it and it was shortage of SSD space. After that it installed and the screen went black as it was supposed to, only this one lasted forever. It was on for fifteen minutes so I decided to pull the plug. I turned it on again and I can see nothing, so I assume it was the GPU since I just disrupted driver installing so I switch to my mobo graphics, and that doesn't work either?
Any help would be appreciated.

I just recently had this experience when upgrading my Linux GeForce driver: it is an imperfect installation of the driver.

In order to reinstall in this situation, because you have effectively ruined your GPU driver, you need to remove the GPU and totally reset your Motherboard (Factory Reset). Refer to your manual on how to do this. In my case, I was able to plug the motherboard into the monitor (without a GPU) and enter grub: wherein the prompt appeared.

After resetting your Motherboard with the factory CD, reinstall your driver. There will be a long period of blackness, because the graphics driver is shutting down and rebooting during this process. Do not turn off your PC, and you should be right-as-rain.

...said that it couldn't carry on with the install, but I quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it and it was shortage of SSD space

If you are using Linux, that error could have also been a variety of other issues. If this is the case, please provide more details on how you corrected that issue.

Yep McDouble is right you have effectively fucked yourself. Usually mobos have a Bios reset jumper i would google how to reset the bios for your specific motherboard.
