Hi my CPU temperature goes upto 70-75 C while playing GTA V. I live at place where summers are already soaring and temperature outside is around 35C. My table setup make CPU lie in a box which is not much airy.
So please suggest me if I should go for a CPU cooler or should try something else. Also my GPU temperature soars upto 67C.
I have been looking at 212X, is it good enough?

Thanks

Solution
The Deepcool Neptwin is the best of the 3, and also the largest. It is the best option here though some would prefer the Noctua DH-14 which has similar design and heat regulation it is higher priced as well.

As for the thermal past, there are 3 levels of thermal paste. The is level 1 which comes with stock coolers or CPUs which holds you over and keeps your CPU at an ok temp. There is level 2 which comes with your aftermarket cooler and keeps your CPU at a very reasonable heat, usually the more you spend on a cooler the better the paste is. And there's level 3 which is a little bit better than what you'd get with an aftermarket cooler but has more of it for more uses.

IF you have the money than get Arctic MX4 but if you don't your PC...

H100i GT from corsair is a great cooler for the price :)
I have one of the versions below that new one and mine barely goes over 45 degrees.
It just connects to the CPU and then mount the radiator with fans to the top or wherever you want it to be and it's done!

Hope this helps :)

Your GPU temps are under average and your CPU are about normal but needs to be lower

Get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo and Arctic MX4 Paste and you'll bring your temps down by at least 15c

I have a 212 evo with my 6300 overclocked at 4.3ghz and it doesn't go over 48c ever

There is no difference in performance form the 212 X and the EVO or the 212 +, They are all just newer versions of one but aren't actually better, you'll only notice a 2c difference between any of them, go with whatever is cheaper

I m not a fan of water cooling, you wont see much of a difference in water cooling than you will with a fan cooler, at least not for the price, water cooling is quite overpriced when the performance isn't to much better.

This is my opinion, some other ppl may be able to speak better on it

Thanks, so should I go with stock fans or add/change something?

I had an extra fan in my case so i added it to my 212 EVO, it isn't necessary at all but i just did it anyway.

You won't need to change anything

On my mATX board it does block 1 RAM slot but is no biggy for me. It is not heavy and doesn't way down the board, that can't be possible because boards are screwed onto the case

You GPU temperature is fine, the max for a GPU is 90c and the absolute maximum is 100c which will damage a card

So can you please tell me which should I go for between hyper 212x or Deepcool Neptwin or Deepcool Game Storm Lucifer? The one which cools the best and is bang for bucks.
Also as Deepcool versions already come with a thermal paste, do I need to buy the antec one?
