Guys am looking for ram upgrade for my lappy DELL INSPIRON N5110 i5 2410 with 1GB nvidia graphics

Am unable to find what kinda RAM my lappy supports..
I know the current one is 1333Mhz and 4Gb
Can i upgrade it to 8GB?? and to 1600Mhz??
Also, what pin is the ram that i have to select?? is it the 204 pin one? or 240? or some other?

Solution
It is highly unlikely if not certainly impossible to upgrade or change the ram on that model laptop.

Unless you have opened it up already and managed to find the ram slots which are spare or where you would place larger sticks...which I assume you haven't done and that is a good thing in this case as it doesn't have spare slots and is not meant for upgrading.

With this, the rest of your questions are no longer relevant.

Unfortunately no. Other than swapping the battery and maybe the hard drive there isn't. Laptops, especially low and mid end models are built in a way which makes changing most components impossible.

Some higher end models allow changing of parts, however these are few and far between.

It is another downside to laptops vs desktops.

Alright
Appreciate your prompt responses :)

This lappy was only purchased for my MBA needs.
Am building another desktop for gaming purposes :p

Actually i do
I asked the same question 3-4 days back and i was told that corsair and samsung are equally good choices..
So i went with the corsair one (ordered yesterday) coz most of my stuff is from corsair.. The H100i, SP120's , 450D, RAM, etc.

And guess what, i already bought a kingston SSD 120GB around a week back. The main reason to get this SECOND SSD was to install OS on it coz i read Kingston SSD's aren't that good..
Now am like :-/
Don't know what to do.

I am now totally confused as I don't understand what "corsair" component you bought.

I also don't know about your build or ssd situation, so please link me the thread or write a personal message.

Also please select the solution on this one so it is closed

The components i bought are all together another point of discussion..
The main thing that i was saying is that : I asked the same question 3-4 days back and i was told that corsair and samsung are equally good choices..

And guess what, i already bought a kingston SSD 120GB around a week back. The main reason behind purchasing this SECOND SSD was to install OS on it coz i read Kingston SSD's aren't that good..
Now am like :-/ I will have 2 SSD's now. Out of which none of them will be upto the mark.:(
Don't know what to do.
