my partner wants to do an old school youtube channel and i want to help buy buying him the equipment to record his gameplay from his megadrive. problem is i can't find the correct recording equipment.
does anybody have any suggestions?
and also i was told i have something if the megadrive has a rca/phoni output. how woulf i know if it does? thank you in advance guys and gals :)

You need to get a RCA to like HDMI adapter and then connect that output to a recording device like an Elgato Game Capture. Then you can do stuff with the videos. There are probably other things like an input switcher if you have a lot of systems, here check out this youtube video by the Angry Video Game Nerd. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHh5RsoHtrc
