Mixing RAM, compatiblity issues

I currently have a 2x2gb kit of Kingstons 1333mhz ram (http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/kvr1333d3n9_2g.pdf) . I recently bought two of these (http://www.kingston.com/datasheets/kvr13n9s6_2.pdf) in an effort to raise it to 8gb.

When I booted the first time, my screen, mouse and keyboard got no signal, just the fans were spinning. After that I updated the bios to its latest version (1.80), and booted up without the new RAM. Then I shut down and cleared the CMOS, and inserted the new RAM again. Windows didn't boot up, but instead of just not giving my any signal to anything, it asked me if I wan't to repair or start normally. I chose normally. Then, I got the black screen again, and when I restarted I kept getting the black screen.

I know that mixing ram was a stupid move on my part. I would just like to know if there is any way to make these work together. Any tips?

My motherboard is an Asrock 880GMH/u3s3 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/880GMHU3S3/)

Doesn't seem like much of a difference other than the memory modules. However even the asrock site doesn't show that second set as compatible. I assume you have taken the new ram back out and re-booted?

Alright, nevermind this thread. RAM works now. After updating the bios and clearing the CMOS I tried switching the ram modules with each other as one last desperate attempt. It worked, somehow.

Could've been the BIOS update that did it, or the fact that I changed the slots. Although considering I tried running them once after the update and they didn't work, I think it was the slot swapping.
