I'm building my first pc and just noticed the asus rampage I picked out says 3.1 USB and my case says 3.0 in the description. Does anyone know if that matters? Or do I need to change my mobo or case?

I'm using that kind of mobo because of the processor I'm getting. I'm getting the rampage 5 extreme and the i7 5930k they are both 1150 socket. I'm just getting 1 titan x for now

I think you may have meant LGA 2011-3, as the processor listed and series of motherboard are both X99.
I only notice this because I wanted to get an Intel 5960X but realized that I would never need that much processor, so I settled on the Z-97 architecture and a 4790K which happens to be LGA 1150. I figured that having two instead of three or four possible slots for SLI due to the lack of abundant PCI-E lanes on the processor wasn't really a big deal, and honestly in the long run it probably saved me a thousand dollars. If you are building this computer for gaming, you are overdoing it. If this computer is going to be put to work however you picked the perfect processor for X99 due to its balanced price and number of PCI-E lanes. I noticed the Titan X so I figure the only things you could do with it is video acceleration, gaming, or for some weird reason, mining (which I doubt). Anyway, X99 is a powerful architecture, just be prepared to be hit in the face by the price, especially if you want more than 16 gigabytes of ram since DDR4 is still notably expensive. Good luck to you on your build.
