So I recently bought a new router since my family is a big "wifi user." So, I was wondering if I can connect 2 routers to one modem so that even if my family is watching something, I can still play games without lag. If it is possible, please tell me step by step. And also I don't know anything about Lan or Wan so you have to be more specific to where I connect something.

Solution
Probably not. The modem is only allocated one public IP address from your ISP. The first router to connect will be allocated that IP address and the next one won't get an IP address. Depending on the router you have, you might be able to use QOS to prioritize gaming traffic.

Yea, i couldn't connect it, but luckily the router I bought supports all of us, and I didn't lag. I got a good deal for 40 bucks.
