Hey, my cpu is starting to show its age a bit every here and then and i could really use the performance jump. I have AMD overdrive but just want to know how to overclock it to a good safe extent and not have it burn up or get damaged. 3.8 or 3.9 ghz would be nice to reach. I have 3 fans on my PC and am using the Antec 600 case hopefully that's enough.

I have the exact same CPU with a V8 cooler...4 fans with a cooler master cage, I always get 38°C but now I dont know because CPUID HW monitor doesnt show cpu core temps!!! But, what if I reply your same multiplier...shall i get same stable results during hard core gaming?
