so as the title suggests i got a new MOBO its a z97 RoG board and i also got an i7 4790k with it, i noticed my i7 was running hotter than it should (it was hitting 90.c under load(stock fan cooler)) so i update BIOS to the most recent from asus and temps were definitely better but not by a lot then i saw an intel chipset updater from asus. i use this and things seemed very choppy, go to work ,come home for lunch and computer is now off, will not turn on. i get the start/reset lights on board and the RoG logo flashes(cant recall it flashing before), but absolutely no other power. the buttons dont do nothing either and after testing all other components im sure its the mobo, i just looked and saw that the chipset drivers i installed were for 5th gen intel i check the list im not 5th gen intel, how do i uninstall this intelll chipset and revert it back?

so the only thing i have currently connected is cpu+fan and no it does not spin, absolutely nothing does.
ive tried with 4 ram then 2 then 1, with gpu and without same with HDD's. i only get lights on the MOBOs start/reset buttons but these shouldnt be mistaken for my onboard LEDs because none of those are turning on or getting any power. as i daid i tested the cpu fan and it spins fine as does psu. MOBO seems ...dead
