A8 6600K overclock @ 4.2 ghz + 8gb 2400 mhz ram compatible?

The memory controller (IMC) of the A8-6600K supports up to 1866MHz by default, but you may be able to run the RAM at 2400MHz if your motherboard and RAM supports XMP.
Although, OCed CPUs sometimes can't manage high bandwidth RAM.
