I have a AsRock z77 Extreme 3 MB and recently my computer fans will not shut off when i shutdown or put to sleep. The only way it will go off is if i hold down the power button. Also my restart case button doesn't work and i'm pretty sure the connectors are in the right place. Could this problem be a possible short in the case.

We provide few ways for you to try.
1.Please load BIOS default for try.
2. Please check if the VGA driver and INF driver are installed correctly.
3. If your OS is windows 8/8.1/10, please following the below step to set the shut down behavior from "S4" to "S5".
(In OS)
Path: Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options > Click Choose what the power buttons do > Click Change settings that are currently unavailable> clear "Turn on fast startup"
4. Please remove the unnecessary device and only install CPU, one stick memory module and system HDD to try.
5. If possible, please change power supply or HDD for verify.
