hey guys, I dont know if this is the right place to ask this, so Im sorry in advance if there is a better sub-forum to post this in.

My issue is that I am experiencing really hard lag in games, regardless of how low I set my graphics settings. The two specific games are Dragonage Inquisition, and GTA V (both online, and storymode).
the problem started immediately after installing a second graphics card and new cpu cooler some several months ago, and it is just getting out of hand. This is my first bottom up build, but I know how to install a cpu cooler, and I simply cant imagine how I could have possibly messed up a graphics card installation, but I am not above the idea that maybe I screwed something up. I am curious if maybe there is some setting that I didnt change when I installed the second card in crossfire (I did check the little box for crossfire in catalyst control center).

anyways, here is my current build list...
AMD FX-8350 black edition (4.0 GHz)
Noctua NH-D14 cooler
Asus M5A97 le R2.0
MSI R9-270X Gaming edition (X2 in crossfire, not overclocked beyond factory settings)
Seagate Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Western Digital 2TB 3.5" 5900RPM Internal Hard Drive
Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
NZXT Phantom 530 case

Here is a link with the build

I have to toot my own horn here a little bit, the wiring is simply phenomenal, so I know it isnt restricting air flow, however I have yet to add to the stock case fans so the air flow is not nearly as good as it could be.

any help in figuring this out, or at least a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

the temperatures are pretty stable on the cpu, although I am seeing moderately high temperatures on the graphics card that sits in the top slot on the motherboard (I know there is a technical term for this but im brain farting right now... the gpu that resides above the other gpu if you are looking at them installed in the computer). I have noticed that when I take out the crossfire cable, the system runs really smoothly for several hours even in GTA V (havent tested it in inquisition), so Im not sure if its the crossfire configuration itself, or if it is some byproduct (maybe more strain on the top card) that is causing everything to go nanners.
I have not tried removing a card yet, and Im kind of apprehensive simply because I am super not excited about dealing with warranty claims, and the cards are both less than a year old and am really hoping that one hasnt gone bad yet. I may get up the courage to test this out soon.

You should test both cards indvidually and stress test them. Find out if the issue lies with one of the cards.

Also alot of the time when you're running SLI you'll have to deal with the airflow in the case. Could you take a picture of the inside of your computer and post it online?
