Im new to building CPUs, but I just put together my own build. I had some problems with the motherboard not being grounded right, so I took it into MicroCenter and they adjusted everything, got all the fans and lights running and everything. Now, my computer gives me a black screen whenever I run my Elgato HD 60. I have to reset my computer every time I get that screen, because it is otherwise completely unresponsive. The only other time I got this problem is when I have alot of tabs open and they are all loading videos, but thats normally like 10+ tabs and I get a blue screen that automatically restarts my cpu. I dont thinks its a over heating problem, because there are 3 fans in the cpu that run, and my room is usualy around 68 degrees. Can anyone give me any insight, because I am at the point where Im considering just selling the cpu and buying a pre built model.

My parts that I have in the cpu are :

Update: I got the black screen for the first time while using a different program, this time uploading a video to youtube. I had just processed the same video using Primiere, so I dont think its that the cpu cant handle processing large files.

Update 2: Okay, so I just did some optional updates on the computer, and it seems I can record fine now. Not sure If this is fixed indefinitely, or just a temporary thing.

I'm no expert by any means, forgive me if I am way off on this...

It sounds like a "No post" issue. I ran in to a similar issue on my first go around. I ended up having to increase the Wattage on my PSU. My PSU and GPU seemed compatible, so I thought... Funny enough, switching out to a unit with more wattage helped. Will this work in your case? I honestly have no clue...

When you start the machine up, do you see any lights flashing/dancing across your motherboard as it boots and does it checks? If it stalls at a particular point perhaps something isn't seated correctly? A buddy of mine didn't seat his RAM properly and its just little things like that, that wouldn't hurt to double check.
