I purchased a Crucial brand 4gb memory unit (Crucial 4GB Single DDR3 1333 MT/s (PC3-10600) CL9 204-Pin 1.35V/1.5V SODIMM Memory For Mac CT4G3S1339M) from Amazon.

I purchased this to replace one of the 2 2GB Samsung memory chips (2GB 204p PC3-10600 CL9 8c 256x8 DDR3-1333 1Rx8 1.5V SODIMM RFB, Samsung, CHT, M471B5773DH0-CH9.

But the Samsung Satellite C655D-S5300 laptop will not reboot into Win 7. I read that it should work work on Windows also and the "for Mac" means it is compatible with MAC's also.

The info on the Crucial memory says it is compatible with the Samsung chip and so not sure what is causing this. Would anyone have suggestions to resolve this problem?
