I have old mb PH8H61-M LX slot lga1155 processor i3-2100.
I am confused wether to buy nw mb with i5 4th gen or i5 2nd gen and use same mb.
I have gtx760 and planning to play gta v and bf 4 types of games.
Budget 15000 INR

I recommend if you can get an i5-3570 or i5 3470 in market (K version depends if you want to overclock and your mobo supports it). You'll not have to change your motherboard for any of third generation processors as both 2nd and 3rd generation shares same socket (LGA 1155). With i5 3470 or i5 3570 you will get solid boost in games like you mentioned and you will max out bf4 (haven't played gta v so can't say about that now) at 1080p. Also, 3rd and 4th generation processors do not have any major performance difference. Make sure you have 8 gigs of ram.
