battlefield 4 system requirements

Hello. I just want to know why the reccomended requirements for battlefield 4 is core i7 quad core cpu and amd athon 6 cores. Why the amd reccomended cpu is 6 core and intel 4. Does that mean that my cpu i5 4590 with gtx 970 cannnot max out bf4?

You can easily max out bf4 with that gpu and cpu. CPU isn't key to good performance in gaming, the GPU is. An i5 is more than you need for gaming and an i7 is overkill with very little performance increase in gaming.
