For the past couple of days, the fan in my sister's Asus X501A laptop (same as my one) has been making weird noises. It's only occasional, but she thinks something is up.
She's had this laptop for just over a month, but she thinks something suspicious is happening. She said that her fan is making a moderately loud 'clicking' noise. She also described it as "something going inside of the fan" when there's nothing there. I checked it for dust and no dust was there.
What could be causing this?
