Mixing DDR3 Memory

I just installed a 2 x 4GB G. Skill kit in my rig (Slots 1 and 3). I had a leftover 4 GB Kingston Hyper X so I stuck that in slot 2. I jacked the memory up to 2133. The system runs stable with just the G. Skill but I get a blue screen if I keep the Kingston in. I realized I don't really need the Kingston as the G Skill provides plenty of memory for what I am doing. So, if its going to be a hassle to get both to work in tandem I will just sell off the Kingston ram. However, I'd like to get it to work if I can.

Can anyone provide some pointers? FYI, I set the memory in my bios uding D.O.M.M. (?) settings and my motherboard supports up to 32GB. Again, the G. Skill works here but not with the Kingston in as well. I am wondering if I don't need to adjust the timings on the memory sticks themselvs, rather than the whole shot (if this is even possible).

Thanks for any help!

Mixing memory is not a good idea, especially if you would be disabling the dual channel capabilities( as you would with only 1 stick of the Kingston). Getting 4 sticks of memory to work is problematic at best, even if they were all the same brand.
