New pc. New windows BSOD

Just got my new pc. And downloaded the win7 os on my other pc and it works with no bsod. Once i plugged in my hdd on the new pc. It freezes on win7 startup and a blue screen fastly appears and restarts pc. Here are my pc specs.

i5 4690k
Gigabyte h97 d3h F4 bios
8gb gskill 2x4 ram
Cooler master poseidon 120v cooler

500GB seagte hdd

Pls help...

Not sure exactly if this is what you are saying, but it sounds like you installed Windows 7 on the hard drive while it was in a different computer? That's not going to work. You have to install it with the hard drive in the computer you just built.
Hello... Windows compiles/creates a startup file for each install... based on the hardware it sees/detects.
1) if AHCI is BIO's enabled, there will need to be a driver installed for HD/Hardware communication... IDE will not, there is a setting in the registry to switch modes.

Yes, once you get an optical drive in there you can install it from there. You can also install it from a flash drive, if you have one. I've never done it, but it works, I'm sure you can Google how to do it.
 


There is caveats here:
1) you say you downloaded Win7 - from where??
2) Windows is licensed only for one computer at a time, so you can't put the same copy into multiple PCs and expect each to work okay.
