How much of a difference will a new heat-sink make in my computer?

Hello all, I recently noticed that my computer has been getting in the 65-75 (and very rarely 80) degree range when I play games on my computer. These aren't terrible temps for my computer considering the parts I have but, I would like for them to be lower. I am looking into getting a new heat-sink since the one I have now is the one that came with the processor. But I am wondering how much of a difference it will make. I know that it probably depends greatly on which one I get. But, If someone could give me a rough estimate that would be awesome! Thanks!

CM Storm Enforcer
AMD FX 8350
MSI R9 290
GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD3
SeaSonic 850w PSU
1x Front 200mm Case Fan
1x Rear 120mm Case Fan
1x Top 120mm Case Fan

With a top end air cooler or nice all in one, it would have trouble passing 55C max. Something like thew noctua nh-d14/d15 or 240mm all in one.

noctua NH-U14S .
it is great cooler , bit expensive but well worth the money ,
you will be able to overclock your cpu
and even after some overclocking the temperatures will be lower .

Thanks guys for the quick responses! I was also thinking about upgrading my case sometime soon but I don't have enough money to do both right now. Which one should I do first? Which one would benefit me more?

first of all make sure the cooler will fit inside your case .
NH-U14S is not small (165mm)

U know 60-65 is pretty standard when machine is pushed.

A new cooler... it's no magic, a "better" cooler often means bigger heatsink (do you have the room?) and/or more faster spinning fans (can you tolerate more noise?).

The storm enforcer will fit pretty much any cooler at all.

Both those will knock 15-20c off your temps & reduce fan noise substantially.

Hardly anyone would consider using the stock amd fan for any length of time with an 8350.
