This has been happening when I tried installing Battlefield 3. Turns out it's just direct x itself because when I use the Web Installer I get this error and I'm at ends wit with this. I'll give a picture after.
geesh say file may be damaged. What would be the best way to repair this or should I do a complete re-install again................
k I'm gonna try sfc /scannow in CMD
Problem solved! I just went into "safe mode with networking" and installed "Web installer direct x" then had to delete the cap files in the redist folder to install the game. Also had to run origin as administrator. Boom works. What a damn process.
