I am moving to the sticks and have the option of getting a fixed wireless.internet with 2 meg down and 512 k up or 2 meg down and 1 meg up. Does the up really matter to gaming online? World of warcraft...xbox live...etc? Which one should i choose?

Solution
for gaming, the one thing that matters is the stability of the line, latency and the response to the server /those things create lags, and lags can turn even the most peaceful gamer into a murdering rage machine :D/. also, I'm pretty much sure, wow can be played even on a dialup /well, not really, as it would kick you out of any highly populated area, but you get my point/ :D
as for the speeds /if the price is equal, go for the higher numbers/, personally I'd go for 2/1 /because torrents are good and sharing is caring/ :D

The Up won't matter that much but be prepared for alot of latency (lag) and taking 'forever' to do 'updates'. You might want to see if there is any Microwave based options out there, they run much faster then that, and see if any CableTV is out there, that is currently the best solution. Right now I am running 150Mbps connection for 4 PCs, Kindles, Cell phones and a PS3 and is nice and steady no issues. I was on 1Mb and I will tell you unless you have ONLY ONE DEVICE (i.e. ONE Xbox OR One PC) you will see real quick it drop down in 'speed' for you. Sorry your having to endure this.
