You don't need anything THAT high end for gaming if you don't overclock. Just get a cheap asrock or msi H81 board and a good seasonic or cheap EVGA power dupply approx. 500w considering you have a dedicated graphics card in there.

in terms of gaming, a motherboard has very little effect. you need to invest on a GPU + CPU if you want to play at high reso + max settings. but if there are other things to consider such as features of a board, depending on the other components that you have, then that might come into play in choosing a mobo.
do provide your budget and purpose of the rig so that i may be able to give you a better spec list

here's a sample build. opt for Xeon since it performs like an i7 just without the iGPU since you have a dedicated one anyway.
GPU is a bit expensive but has 8gb VRAM, that would be important for future gaming especially if you want to play in a very high resolution

so what are the components that you already bought? well you can settle for a GTX 970 which is a very good card, and i mean VERY, at the $340 price point.

Spend a bit less for a core series cpu. Probably an i5 46xx or 45xx. Xeons are all bling. Big pricetags for big companies. Look it up. They offer the same performance as core i7's with almost double the price(Xeon E5 12-core). Plus, Xeons were never made for gaming. They were made for long and complicated calculations performed over an extremely long amount of time (e.g. days & weeks.) Games don't have calculations THAT long and complicated and they are performed in a really fast amount of time before another calculation gets clocked in. It's really complicated to explain but you can just look up "Xeon vs Core i" on google and have dozens of articles supporting this.

Well that's probably the best you could get. Correct me if I'm wrong. Of course you could go ballistic on it and go for a titan X and cheap out on everything but that is just stupid.
