I have an HP envy Laptop that I have been using for the last two years (Windows 8). Recently I started experiencing a problem where I cannot launch certain installed programs as I keep getting the message that I am not connected to the internet. Some of these programs include Mccafee internet security and a question bank that I installed recently.. However, I am able to access the net on all my browsers and other services. This has been going on for about a month and in that time period, I have also been unable to make any updates with Windows updates. I keep getting an error with a code 80070422.
