Recently built my first pc with help from an experienced friend.
Specs are
Amd fx6300
msi 760gm-p34 fx
crucial ballistix 8gb (1 stick) 1866
Western Digital blue 1tb hdd
gigabyte geforce gt730
So i cam across a problem while installing windows 8.1. After windows finishes installing the files to the hard drive it attempts to boot and i then get an error message saying something went wrong with windows installation, restart your computer to continue. It forces me to restart the computer and then just goes to my information screen (press del to enter setup,f11 to enter boot menu). And if i attempt to boot up the hard drive again the same problem keeps happening. It seems as if nothing i do will make windows boot with this computer. Please help, i am so lost.
