I have always used ASUS motherboards in the past but lately with the upgrades to there processor and/or mobo I had a hard time on my last build. This time I wanna make sure that everything fits like a glove before I start. I have found that AMD FM2+ and FM2 do not always work together on the ASUS motherboard. I have looked at AM3+ mobo and AM3+ cpu. All of this is with AMD. Am I doing the right thing or is there an easier way to try to find a mobo and cpu that are compatible. I am so tired of spending all day just trying to find the parts to build a computer.
My specs on this build are similar to AMD motherboard that has at least 6 usb 2.0, 2 usb 3.0. I do not need a gaming PC just a video that works ok to surf web and look at pics and maybe play some games. The PC's I have built in the past the video on the cpu was good enough for a non gamer. I just need advice as to what type of motherboard, cpu and RAM to order. Any advice would deeply appreciated.
Thanks
