Looking to upgrade my current pc

Hi y'all,

My current pc is really old so I was looking to upgrade some things. I did a lot of research and found out that my motherboard is a MSI H87M - P33. It supports 1150 sockets and for graphic cards it supports the cards you can find in the link below:

I have an Intel Pentium G3220 and an MSI Radeon HD 5450.

I figured I only need to replace my processor, my graphics card and buy another Kingston 4GB Ram card. This is the setup I was thinking about:

- Processor: Intel Core i3-4160
- Graphics: MSI N650Ti-2GD5/OC
- RAM: Another 4GB Ram Kingston
- Motherb.: MSI H87M - P33
- Hard Disk: 500 GB
- Voltage: 460W

Does this setup work? Or do I need to buy a better power supply etc. etc.

PS. Forgot to add that I only have 1 slot for my graphics card.

Im not sure about that yet because if I pass my exams I will get some money to upgrade my pc. I am going to work in the next couple of months because I dont have class after finishing my exams (Im still in high school). Could you tell me what I could do with a 400 euro budget and with a 700 euro budget?

any kind of gpu card work with your mobo
any 1150 cpu will work with a bios update
which model of psu you have?
you need to add the exact same model of ram for compatibility
just note ...your motherboard is a low end quality and not built for overclocking or stress

What power supply do you have? It may not be able to handle a 650 ti

I believe I have a Codegen P-Case 460W PSU. Will my Motherboard bottleneck anything?

I thought about it and I decided to save up some money and buy a high end pc.
How would this configuration work:

PC: Sharkoon T9 Value Red Edition
PSU: Cooler Master G650M
Motherboard:GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming 3 OR MSI Z97 GAMING 5
RAM: Crucial 8 GB DDR3-1600 OR Kingston HyperX 16 GB DDR3-2400
Fan: CoolerMaster Hyper212 Evo
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-4690K OR Intel® Core™ i5-4460
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB OR Asus STRIX GeForce GTX 960 2GB

Will 8GB Ram be enough for gaming? Oh and I would prefer to stay around €1000,-. Last but not least do I need a i-5 4690K/ i5-4460 or would a i3-4160 be enough to not bottleneck the GPU?
