Current setup will be:

i5 4690 3.5ghz
ASRock H97M-ITX
8gb (2 x 4) RAM
1 x SSD 256GB
3 x 3TB HHD
Cooler Master Seidon 120m Liquid Cooler Radiator

This will be used to watch HD movies and listen to music.

How many watts do I need? Please recommend a solid PSU please!

PS, I would like to add that in the future I MAY add a video card to play one or two games like GTA or something to that effect, but that's not a sure thing.

Thanks community!!

I am a gamer, so I look at it from another angle.

my honest opinion:

You are buying about 800 dollars or so worth of stuff you don't need AT ALL. Listening to music and watching film is done on much simpler devices as these tasks require no power at all.

You say you will MAYBE put in a gfx card to play gta eventually...i mean...pretty expensive build to "maybe" game a bit lol!

For your purposes I would strongly recommend at most a pentium or i3 processor, 4gb of ram and perhaps a seperate nas box to store a ridiculous 9TB of stuff lol...

So yeah, this build is not at all optimal for your needs and is total overkill for the tasks you mention. Utterly no...

You need max 300 watts without the GPU. If you want the option of upgrading to discrete gfx units, use a 500/550 watt psu, bronze or gold certified.

Seasonic/Antec, Silverstone, Enermax, XFX, EVGA, Corsair all good.

Seasonic is #1 though, easily.

Don't know your location so can't recommend anything, other than a make/model:

Two decent supplies

Save on all those high grade components and spend it on really high grade speakers/headphones and a nice projector/screen for your films. Go ultra wide format 16:10 for the ultimate movie watching.
