Can I run GTA V on my laptop comfortably?

Specs:
i5 4210u dual core 1.7GHz(turbo to 2.7)
GeForce 840m 2 GB
8 gb of ram

I know the CPU is pretty crappy but will I at least be able to run it?

Anything helps

No, you won't be running GTA 5 very comfortably and especially not at medium settings.

Your dual core cpu and low power gpu won't be able to tackle the game well as it actually utilizes the CPU quite alot and minimum specs are quad core for various reasons.

So no, you won't run itand if you do you won't run it in way that is playable. Sorry.

GTA V is a pretty heft game, but that is a pretty decent lappy and it should at least at medium settings. I have a lappy with an i3 and running on the integrated graphics and was surprised to find I could run oblivion on it with no problems.

I just found out that you can run it if your dual-core has hyper-threading. My friend ran the game at around 35 fps with i5-4200u and Intel HD 4400 (idk how that's possible). He used a surface pro 2. I just think GTA v ports are really good.

Hey guys i have a Asus x550ln with the same processor
i5 4210u, geforce 840m 2gb and 6gb of ram

But GTA V here is unplayble!!! the first 2 minutes are okay , but then after a few minutes everything starts to lag A LOT i cant even walk
MSI Afterburner shows me that GTA V is using 5 gb of ram there's something really wrong i just dont know what
Can someone help me????
