i was playing company of heroes 2 when my PC Rebooted suddenly. before it bots up it told me "Asus detected power supply unit Surge and shut down the computer for protection" and since then my CPU Idle temperature rised and now are between 33 - 38c. am using stock fan. im worried if my PSU Fucked up my hardware. my GPU Temperature as same. 32c idle.
My i5 4690k idle temperature used to be between 28c - 33c.
my specs are:
CPU: i5 4690k
GPU: Asus Radeon HD 7850 DCU2 V2
RAM: Crucial 2x4gb 1600mhz
PSU: Corsair CX600
motherboard: ASUS Z97-E
NONE OF MY HARDWARE IS OVERCLOCKED DUE TO I HAVE A STOCK FAN AND NOT A TIER 2 PSU.

Solution
The case temperature and room temperature play a role in idle temperatures.

So if the system was gaming, the case may already be warm.

Please ensure your power savings are still on since that keeps idle temps lower.

Your system is also rather power friendly so I do not see the power supply having an issue unless it is defective. I have seem overclock failed warnings on Asus boards without an actual fail(just cutting power before post is complete causes this). You may have something similar.
