My girlfriends 2012 Macbook pro 13" has slowed down to a point where it is almost unusable, just recently. I've no idea how to check anything on a mac so cannot say if it is HDD CPU or RAM etc. Is there a fix for this, say backing up data and reformatting the drive? or is it a lost cause?
