First I must clear that I am currently broke and can't spend money on this stuff. I have a Photon+ USB dongle and I want to use this connection on my tablets and phone as well. For this, I have a Beetel 450TC1 broadband wifi router as I used a broadband connecion before. I want to know how I could configure these together to change my photon+ to wifi. I have seen a video on YouTube which seems to be working but the video wasn't relevant enough for me so, please help me through this

Thanks in advance.

I don't think your router has a USB port, so the only thing you can do is use the USB dongle on a windows computer, and connect the router to the computer via ethernet cable.

Then you can use Windows Internet Connection sharing to basically make your computer share the connections. (it becomes the 'modem' internet source for the router).

Then the router will have internet access, and you can connect other devices to it.

The computer you use for this will need to remain powered on for the connection to remain working.

First of all, thanks for your response g90814, but even the microsoft tutorial doesn't seem to be clear enough. Will just enabling ICS on my photon+ connection cause it all to work or will I also have to configure my router? If yes, how do I do that? You see, after I cancelled the broadband connection, I had kept the router in storage for a couple of years. I've upgraded to Windows 7 some time ago(I used XP before and I know that it's extremely outdated) and what I've discovered is that my router is no longer being detected on my computer. I've even factory reset the router but I still can't even open its configuration page. Please help me with this.

As Much As I can understand
1.You have your USB Dongle
2.You have your Router Which is Connected By Ethernet cable to pc

so May be You Can bridge these connections In your Network Sharing Center
Than you can Make Your Router to act as repeater
That Might Work jus a hunch
