My fx8350 AMD processor has a small fan that makes a very loud noise which is really uncomfortable thus i want an efficient air cooler for my cpu primarily to silence it and also to keep it from getting too hot during gaming, i was told noctua is the best so my Question is will that cooler (the NH-D15) fit my motherboard and case ?
My build: AMD Fx8350
Gigabyte 970A-D3P
case: CoolerMaster k380 midtower
AMD Sapphire R9 270x
4gb of ram
And will it silence the cpu afterall if it fits ???

Solution
L.N.A. is LOW NOISE ADAPTER
That is a cable that when installed lowers the RPM. The two bulks of metallic plates transfer the heat to fins which the fans cool.

• 1500 RPM (Fan without Adapter)
• 1200 RPM (with L.N.A.)
• 140.2 m³/h (Fan without Adapter)
• 115.5 m³/h (with L.N.A.)
• Copper (base and heat-pipes), aluminium

What do u mean by fan without adapter and L.N.A I am a noob in this stuff so plz give me all the info.
Also what makes noctua the best i mean what makes a cooler better than another in any ways ?
Also when i see the cooler i don't understand how it works like there are those two bulks of metallic plates between which the fan is what do those do ?
