The weirdest thing is happening to me. I have made a usb stick bootable to install win 7 to my desktop pc. When i insert it to start the installation the bios screen freezes and i can only restart manually. The mystery is that the same usb works in my friends pc and another usb stick does not cause the same problem to my pc. Its like my pc is making fool of me and does not want me to install win 7. Btw i have Gigabyte mobo and usb 2.0. Please help me!!!!!

I reseated the motherboard's battery but that didnt work either. I am trying to install windows 7 while i already have linux ubuntu installed in a different partition. Is there any chance that this may cause all the problems??
