computer wont boot after overclocking cpu, just long beeps

After trying to overclock my cpu, my pc booted but was coming up with 2ghz when it started at 3.2ghz and i was aiming for 3.6, after pressing the restart button after a successful launch, all I can get to now is the mobo making a long bleeping sound, then proceeding to boot again and do the same, my motherboards beep definitions tell me its a gpu problem if this occurs but my gpu is correctly inserted and plugged in, any suggestions?

Try taking the CMOS battery out and clearing the oc. Some mobos have CMOS jumpers check the manual for this.

I've already removed the battery (currently out), and i'm looking everywhere for my jumper but cannot find it! it says on my mobos manual where it is and it doesnt appear to be there, strange. I do see a little red thing with 3 pins on one side and 2 on the other but idk if it's the right thing

It could be. It normally says right next to it CMOS_JUMPER or something along those lines. I would not jump it until you find out for sure. I would also try leaving the CMOS battery out for longer. Some mobos require 1 hour others 10 min.
