Is there a problem with my motherboard? Won't boot to BIOS at all.

Everything has been working fine, then it shut itself down this afternoon. Wouldn't reboot at all (power on, no system or CPU fans, won't get to BIOS, but PSU working and can hear the drives power up).

Removed GPU and all but one of 4 RAM sticks and it booted. Have tried all 4 RAM sticks and it booted with one in, but any more than that and it won't boot at all. At one point I managed to get 2 RAM sticks in and the GPU and booted to Windows, but then added the other 2 back in and I was back to square one. Stripped it down again, and now it won't boot at all. Completely flummoxed - does this sound like a mobo problem?

Intel 4670k
Z87 Pro
4 x 4gb Corsair 1866 RAM
GTX 980

All has been working fine up until now, this isn't a new rig.... any help would be appreciated!

Is there anything I can do to try and verify it's the motherboard? I'm a bit of a noob to this, building the thing in the first place was an epic task....

It's just strange that sometimes I could get it to reboot - don't know a lot about this stuff and I originally wondered if there was some fluctuation in the power that meant it only had enough to power one RAM stick and the the mobo onboard gpu.... but am I right in thinking they don't fluctuate like that? The PSU is definately working as the power indicator on the mobo lights up and I can hear the drives starting up... just no fans and no BIOS boot...

Amazon are going to replace the board (even though its out of Warranty). Woohoo. Thanks for your help, just need to remember how to rebuild the thing now...
