So as far as I see my list is down to -
Logitech G300S
Logitech G400S
Logitech G302
Roccat Pyra

Lot of Logitechs I know, I find that I trust them a lot more
PS, I had a Deathadder, I hated it. It broke down in less than a year, hence its not on my list

Solution

Yes exactly.

DPI is how fast your mouse moves when you move it, a high DPI makes a minor twitch send your mouse all the way across your screen (for those 360noscopesgetrektm8) a low DPI makes your mouse move really slow so you can do very careful and percise work.

According to the mouses webpage you can setup the custom buttons to do whatever you want...
What about an Razer Imperator? It's what I have currently and it's working out great.
For mice I find its actually worth it to get a quality one that is comfortable for long hours of use, and gaming mice typically have an odd shape or size or hard angle that hurts the hand after a while. Check out some of the more ergonomic mice, they typically come with at least a couple extra buttons you can assign to things you want quick access to ingame.

Logitech also makes very solid mice as well. I had one of these before and it was also incredibly comfy to use: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/mx-master?crid=7

That Logitech is 99 bucks!

I really dont want to try another Razer, Ive owned two, and have had less than satisfactory experiences with both.
What do you think of the 4 mice Ive listed? Which would You go for?

Ive heard the 402 has some kind of sniper button, that lowers the dpi for more careful movements while peering down a scope?
Can I manage something like that with the 400S?

I believe you misunderstand, Im not unfamiliar with the gaming world. Of course I know you can set the dpi to whatever you want

What I need is a button that allows me to temporarily shift the dpi to a custom setting for convenience in whatever situation I might need, for instance sniping or some precise photoshop or zbrush work. Is that what you mean by temporary dpi setting?

According to the mouses webpage you can setup the custom buttons to do whatever you want, like go to a low DPI with a press of the button for X number of seconds. Or you can setup custom DPI levels and switch through them as necesarry, like a low level, a medium level, and a high level.

Lol, a couple minutes too late...
Why not a Steelseries Sensei RAW? Don't know about the basic non-RAW model, but I own one and it's pretty awesome; it's barebones (or no nonsense, if you prefer; just has 4 side buttons, 2 x side), it has a laser sensor, it's pretty comfortable, it's good for both hands and sports what you're looking for.
A button on top lets you switch between two DPI profiles on the fly, customizable via the SS software. You can go from 90 to 5670 DPI at literally the press of a button.

I think I saw some offers over Amazon.com, at a quick glance, and it should be under your budget. Otherwise, it's currently around 60 bucks.

The steelseries are great! But a little out of my budget
I dont live in America, so import duties put the Steelseries out my reach, I think they make the Logitech's here though, hence they're a fair price

Thanks for the advice though!
