Hello, my name is night
And recently ive been wanting a good gaming pc for not alot of money.
I got an old crappy computer with a gt 420 which is over 10 years old,
I wish to play games like h1z1 on med/high 60 fps with shadows off or on lowest,
In the near future killing floor 2 and other games like that (league of legends battlefield cod etc.)
Im looking for someone who can help me with this since im not really an expert, Ill put my DXDIAG in here together with my ideas of other friends , but then again maybe the best idea is to buy a new pc but i want a good one for not alot of money if possible.
Its a dream for me having an awesome smooth running pc ! all help is so much appreciated!

DXDIAG: http://
My friends reccomendations: http://

Im doing an IT education and i know how to assemble a pc , but im not quite good with specs which are also compatible im more a software genie, Its also the main reason i ask for help.

Alot of thanks

I selected the wrong i3, if you chose to go with intel buy this one (faster and newer version): https://www.megekko.nl/product/270973/

A slower i3 then the one I suggested is, at least, as good as an fx-6350 at gaming, have lower power consumption then an 860k, and will allow you in the future to upgrade your build without changing motherboard

Only an fx-6300 or better would justify going AMD with your budget, because of higher number of cores that might give the AMD processor an longer life time.

http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1367?vs=1281

Here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/shadow-of-mordor-performance,3996-4.html you can see an also slower i3 outperforming an FX 6300...
An i5 based pc will perform very well, but your friend's recommendation is missing alot of components, for example ram memory, harddrive, case, psu.
Also The 4460 cannot be overclocked, yet your friend recommends a Z97 board, which can be used on any intel LGA1150 cpu, but is really only useful for a unlocked (K) cpu. An H97 based motherboard wil be cheaper and will perform the same.
Also instead of a GTX 960 I would opt for a R9 280, they are cheaper and perform better.

Since you already linked on the tweakers website, you should check out their system recommendations based on Dutch retailers:

So an honest anwser is http://tweakers.net/reviews/3930/3/desktop-best-buy-guide-maart-2015-budget-en-basisgamesysteem.html

A good choice for playing h1z1 or killing floor 2? or cod games? / league of legends ?

Your i5 is faster than an 860k. All your system really needs is a graphics card, and maybe a better power supply to handle it, depending on what yours is. I would not build a new system, until at least Intel's 6th gen, a.k.a. Skylake, comes out, later this year.

As logainofhades said, you should keep your CPU for now, and get a good GPU. if you can, buy a gtx 970, or some other GPU betweem a GTX 960/r9 280 and a r9 290x, dont worry about bottleneck:

http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/2sv15g/will_an_i5_2300_bottleneck_a_gtx_970/
http://www.gamespot.com/forums/pc-mac-discussion-1000004/thinking-of-getting-the-gtx-970-advise-please-31597094/

What PSU do you have?

I wont get framelags? and i can afford a gtx 970 yes but then im wondering if thats enough to lpay h1z1 or killingfloor 2 later?
I mean will the old CPU interfere with the 970? or will it be like when i buy a new psu and 970 i run at least high frames and i can at least play games on high ? Also will GTX 970 actually fit in my pc XD?

my psu is 250 watts ill upload some other pics aswell with gt 420 180 volts thats the only numbers that are on it in wattage and voltage

As i know nothing about PSU in regular and i did consider buying a GTX 970 Then what power supply would fit for me ?

also im really happy with all the help ! and im still wondering should i buy a graphics card with a new PSU (if nessesary)
or should i buy this pc

as for killingfloor 2 your CPU is better then the recommended CPU, so no problems here: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=AMD+Phenom+II+X4+955 vs http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i5-2300+%40+2.80GHz

as for h1z1 your CPU is the recommended one, so you should have no problems playing this game either.

You will have bottleneck only when the CPU is too slow for the game you want to play. But I think you will be able to play any modern game. For example, for the Witcher 3 the minimun intel is i5-2500k, but your CPU is better then the AMD minimun (phenom x4 940), so I think you will be able to play it.

As for the computer you want to buy, the CPU is worst then the one you have now: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Pentium+G3258+%40+3.20GHz

Only an i5-4460 or better would give you stronger performance, but the difference between the one and your i5-2300 does not justifies expend 250$ (cpu+board)

the PSU is not graet either: http://www.hardwareinsights.com/wp/corsair-vs450-review/4/

I would get: http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/349132/cooler-master-v650-semi-modular.html

For more options you can check: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

And yes, you need a new PSU to work with new GPU

The GYX 750 ti is a good GPU, I have one, but I got it because of power consumption, and at the time neither GTX 970 or 960 where available. Since you can get a GTX 970 you shouls do it

I would go with this build,

better PSU, better CPU for gamin (intel build gives more room for future upgrade, in two or 3 years you could buy and i7 or and xeon E3, but with AMD there is no CPU better then the 860k for FM2+ socket), also the HDD I selected is better, have 64mb buffer, the one you select have 8mb, is sata 2, and probably only runs at 5400 rpm.

You can get board with 2 cpee and 4 ram slot for 15€ more, if you go with a better board you can also go with 2x4gb ram.

If the 860k or the FX 6300 was better then the i3-4160 this CPU would not be here: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-3.html

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gaming-cpu-review-overclock,3106-5.html (860k and fx 6300 are one level below the i3)

Only in a smaller budget you should go with 860k, which is a good CPU, but not as good as the i3 for gaming and in terms of upgrade path
