How fast will an SSD degrade if i put games on it?

So I plan on getting a 120gb SSD for my OS and potentially some Steam games. However, I've heard that an SSD does not like to read and write in extreme cases and could potential degrade the SSD. However, is this true? If so, what games should I keep away from putting on an SSD? Thanks. :)

To seriously impact the lifespan of an SSD, you'd have to write hundreds of GB per day, every day, for years.
You will be fine. That drive will outlive you. (Assuming, of course, you get a non-crappy one)

However....a 120GB drive is kind of small for the OS and games. The OS (Win 7?) will take up about 40GB once all the updates are done.
Leaving maybe 50GB max for everything else. Games can be huge.

Seriously consider a 250GB drive.

SSD's have improved 10x. The Samsung 850 evo 250gb is enough for 99% of people to store OS and programs on.
