Hello, I run windows xp for my own reasons and don't want to upgrade it to windows 7 or so.
I have heard that you can still run some games which require windows 7 to run on windows xp, is that correct?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBNbs-fJf-k In the description it says that you can run black flag on xp, with so called combatibility mode, is that really true?
It would really ease my worries about installing another operating system...

I think you're confused. He's talking about running on a low end Windows 7 or 8 PC, using Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode to bypass the minimum system requirements, so that the game will run if your hardware doesn't meet the requirements of the game. There is no Windows 7 or 8 compatibility mode for XP, as it didn't exist when Windows XP was developed, nor for the Service pack 2.

Compatibility works backwards, not forwards.
